Applying visa for Germany

This is a new experince along my life. I am so lucky for getting this chance. I don't know how to make the best way for apllying the visa. So I just opened the website of German embassy. There are so many rules to applying Germany visa. There are some types of visa, for example visa for traveling, inviting family/friends, study, Job, etc. I need national visa (student) for Germany country because I will staying in germany for more 3 months, acctually 4 months. National visa is different with Schengen visa (for traveling maximum 90 days). Applying schengen visa takes a shorter time than national visa.

Without thinking enough, I went to German embassy by Gojek at September 02 (08.00 am). I departed from my friend's dorm in front of UKI university. I thought it was not far away to German embassy, but you know Jakarta is a metropolis city. All highways is so heavy. I spent almost 2 hours to reach German embassy. Along way I had so much sweat, my cloth was almost wet and my face loked like gorengan. My  driver (gojek) is so cool, because I could persuade him run more faster alias tarik gasnya pak sampai putus.

Finally, I arrived at German embassy and I paid him with more than actual cost.

He looked happy and see you again. I saw so many people standing in front of the office. Oh my gosh....what the hell. So I walked to behind line and queuing up. I felt a little happy because I could see so many high buildings and Bundaran HI but it was not good enough for me. I tried to ask someone in the line. 

What do you do here? still apllying visa or taking?

She answered: oh I just taken, my visa has already

and she asked me. And how about you? 

I explained all my preparation and she smiled to me.

She: Have you made appointment?

I: Oh no....what is that?

She: That is the first thing to applying a visa in German Embassy.

I: Oh my God, I was very shocked.

She: Ok, you can ask the security now.

I talked to security, I explained that I needed a visa as soon, I came from Yogyakarta. Please help me.....................but he said I could not help you because we had rules for applying visa and you must make a appointment before coming here.

Directly my face looked red and turned to highway and saw some flags.

I prayed in my heart "God help me".

I was going to my friend's dorm. As soon as I opened my laptop and checked website of German embassy. I searched link making a appointment. Oh...I got it...but all days on September is not available. I am very shocked. What the hell!!

From noon until night, I just opened the website but still  unavailable. 

God...what happened to me...

I don't have much time staying in Jakarta because I must prepare all my samples for bringing to Germany. 

Tomorrow I decided to returning Yogyakarta....

Day by day I always check the website and one day.......tadaaaaaa there was one day available at Sep 13. Immediately I booked that date and I got it. I preapered everything well because this is the second chance.

Next week, I went to Jakarta by plane. I choosed plane because by plane is more faster than other transportations. Ok I arrived at German embassy office at 08.00 am and everything is OK. Wao....so fast. I met with bapak2 gemuk in cashier 4. He asked me "what will you do in Germany?

I: I wanna do research collaboration.

He: Ok, that is good. Sembilan ratus ribu........(60 eu)

I: Alright

And after finished, I got a invoice and waiting process for 6-8 weeks.

I was very happy at the time. I go home and return to Yogyakarta by plane. I felt as a little rich man. wkwwkwk

Day by day I spent my time with my friends. Almost everyday I played Badminton, sometimes jogging, swimming, travelling.....

After six months, I did not get any email from German embassy. I was starting to get confused. What's going on?????

I tried to send a email and they said: still processing, please wait.

Ok ....I was waiting...

After 8 weeks, still there is no email from German embassy. What the hell!!!!!

How is this??

I have determined date for departing on October with my Professor in Germany. 

Oh God, help me......

I don't know what I will do....

I always contact them. After 10 weeks, I could not wait. I went to Jakarta. I forgot how to go there.(wkwkwk)

I want to meet them directly. After I met them, I asked and he said: are you asking us by email?

I: Ya, How about my visa?? Why so long?

He: I don't know but we did not get approval from German Imigration.

I: Oh that's all???? (my face looked so sad)

He: Ya...that is all.

I: Silently and back

 I go home and staying at my brother's home. I did not do anything because it was blowing my mind.

Somedays after that I got a email that my visa has applied and I can take. I jumped up and down, I was very happy. Tomorrow I went to the Office and I got it.

Oh God.....Waiting is so tired.

I have been waiting my visa 11 weeks.

Well done and  Now I am staying In Germany............
